In my role as the project lead and sole designer for the highly anticipated Halle Berry x Sweaty Betty collaboration, I had the privilege of delving into the personal world of Halle Berry's wellness journey. Drawing inspiration from her intimate connection to ancient Japanese Jujutsu and wider martial arts, practices deeply woven into her personal routine, we crafted a collection that resonates with her on a profound level.

Guided by the essence of Jujutsu's grace and strength, the collection showcases an array of asymmetrical details and sculptural silhouettes, paying homage to the martial art's traditions. As we crafted each piece, we carefully integrated elements that mirrored Halle's passion for the discipline, infusing the designs with both her personal touch and the signature Sweaty Betty style.

The collection features striking strapping and raw edging, thoughtfully balanced with feminine cut lines to ensure both functionality and allure. Geometric prints take centre stage, reflecting the boldness and resilience that Halle Berry embodies in her personal journey.

Moreover, the colour palette of blacks, greys, and soft neutrals captures the timeless elegance and versatility that epitomise both Halle Berry and Sweaty Betty's aesthetic.

In this unique collaboration, we celebrate not only the power of women but also the personal stories and passions that fuel their strength. This collection harmonises tradition, individuality, and contemporary fashion, a true testament to the fearlessly feminine spirit shared by Halle Berry and Sweaty Betty.
